Non-abstinence programs are more effective for sex education because they are more relative to this day in age, it allows those being educated to make their own decision, and there many supporting statistics.

  1. Nice start, Evan. Here's a slight revision: "Statistics show that comprehensive sex education is more effective than abstinence only programs because of x, y and z. Not only do such programs help students to make informed decisions, but they also are more effective at discouraging teen pregnancy as well as the contraction of STDs."
